“ I had a business dinner here as I told my supplier that I wanted something authentically "Miami", so he suggested we meet at Versailles. The menu is extensive, featuring a lot of Cuban dishes. I let him choose a few "must" apps, so he went with the Ceviche, the Empanadas, and the Croquettes. Each app was delicious and filling, and in my head I kept telling myself to save room for an entree, but everything tasted so good. For my entree I went with the Braised Oxtails. When that dish came out it was everything I wanted... the oxtails were succulent and the meat would fall right off the bones. For dessert I had the Arroz con Leche which was the cherry to the whole meal! When you look around a restaurant and it's filled with a lot of older people from the country the restaurant specializes in, then you know you're at the right spot, because the food here is authentic and delicious. ”

“ Miami - This Cuban restaurant has been for quite some time a landmark tourist attraction. That's good and bad. Be prepared to wait for a table. Some tourists arrive by uber or lyft with their luggage where there is now a designated pickup/drop off area. Seriously! Prices remain reasonable and a very good value; the entree roast pork is good, moros and yuca very good, and the media noche sandwich remains reliably substantial and excellent. Generous portions. The interior is clean, open and bright. Service is good. Plenty of self parking available. ”

It doesn't have the flare of Old's Havana Cuban Bar & Cocina, but it has much more elbow room and real estate so a much less congested feel. The food was amazing...!!! The black beans were heavenly as was the chimi churri sauce for the skirt steak! The only thing that was annoying was the lack of service from our assigned guy. He was so not ever there for anything we needed. Every time he did show up he was apologetic; knowing he was falling short. The restaurant was not busy so he was not over tasked... anyway the food was amazing, our service, on this particular night was terrible. I will come back again because the food is heavenly...! If I am unlucky twice and get the same server, I will immediately leave and have a better at Old's Havana. ”

The Cuban coffee was perfectly smoooth, bold, and packed with that rich, authentic flavor that just hits different. The food? So fresh and full of flavor, you can tell they really care about what they serve. Every bite was a little taste of Miami. And the staff? Super friendly, making the whole experience even better. “ Wow, our meal at Versailles was great! What really stood out to us was the prices, especially in present day. We had a huge meal of classic Cuban dishes for under $15 per person. The restaurant is really well decorated and the servers and very fancy and formal. We started with a sampler platter, which included some classics. We each ordered a dish, and the standout was the arroz con pollo. The rice was delicious, rich, and had an amazing moist texture. All of the dishes were great, and the staff were warm and friendly. We had a great time! ”

When we arrived, there's plenty of parking in front of the restaurant and bakery, which makes getting in and out easy. When we walked in the host was welcoming, and we were seated promptly despite the large crowd. We started with the café con leche, which was sweet, pairing perfectly with the bold espresso that packed a punch. Next came the Cuban sandwich, toasted to perfection with the perfect balance of flavors--it's a must try dish you can't miss. Finally, we ended with the key lime pie, which I can confidently say is the best I've ever had. Creamy, tangy, and just the right level of sweetness, it's worth the trip alone. Versailles is an absolute must-try when in Miami for its delicious food, welcoming atmosphere, and charm. Highly recommend! ”
